Welcome to Nala Hive: A Place for Mothers to Connect, Nourish, and Thrive

ree

In 2017, I found myself in a new city, hours away from family and friends, with a one-year-old daughter and very little support. I was juggling the demands of motherhood and a career in nonprofit development—burned out, overwhelmed, and isolated. Out of that season of transition, I began journaling to make sense of my experience and dreamed of creating something that could support other moms walking a similar path.

As I searched for inspiration, I became fascinated with female-led species, the lioness and the bee, both powerful symbols of protection, collaboration, and strength. That’s how the name Nala Hive came to life: a blend of fierce motherhood and unwavering community. And in a moment of unexpected confirmation, Beyoncé was announced as the voice of Nala in The Lion King shortly after I came up with the name (Hello fellow Beyhive members). I knew then this vision was meant for something bigger.

In 2021, I launched a simple blog. And now, as I step into a milestone year, I’m choosing to trust God and relaunch Nala Hive, not just as a blog, but as a vibrant, nurturing community designed for mothers who are ready to reclaim their joy, their voice, and their village.

Nala Hive is more than an idea, it’s a movement.

We are a safe, supportive space for mothers to gather, grow, and be reminded that they were never meant to do this alone. Whether you’re single, married, divorced, working, stay-at-home, or somewhere in between, you belong here.

At Nala Hive, we focus on three pillars:

Connect

Build authentic relationships through curated events, community gatherings, service

opportunities, and storytelling. Your voice matters, and your story deserves to be heard.

Nourish

Support your mental, emotional, physical, and spiritual well-being through wellness retreats, life skills workshops, and real conversations about what it takes to care for yourself while caring for others.

Thrive

Step into your power through economic empowerment programs, career and entrepreneurial resources, and a community that encourages collaboration and balance over burnout.

Motherhood is too big to carry alone and you don’t have to. If you're feeling stretched thin or longing for deeper connection, you're not alone. Nala Hive is here to remind you that you are powerful, capable, and worthy of support in every season.

We’re just getting started, and we’d love you to join us.
